Young Bullfighter Once a jailer's son The boy was born to run on the precipice of death Despite his eminent demise he looked the bull square in the eyes And asked if he’d known Jesus It drew a hush from the crowd How could he care about a thing like that now? Onlookers never turned nor looked away They knew he could hardly stand The boy never had a chance He said the message over and over again He was a young bullfighter Younger than they've ever seen He was a young bullfigher, fighter Young than anyone could ever believe It was hardly a match The bull gored the boy so fast And the blood mixed with the sand Sparked a riot in the stands How could we all let this pass? And the body disappeared It’s all because of you, all because of you Everybody here is blaming you It’s all because of you, It’s all because of you He said the message over and over again He had it coming That’s what struck him as funny His final tear They were shed for you

Shell Shock My Mind is fading Slowly turning grey I need a medic Shell shock shell shock shell shock I need a medic Dear lovely, I've seen your pretty face round here before Now tell me something: Do you think it matters, what you're looking for? Well tell me something, you're living on your own and that's just fine But, darling, do you trust me? And if not, and if not, and if not What are we saying? Hey darling, I've seen you walking round these streets before But tell me something: Does your life need more? Well tell me, lovely, you're living on your own and that's just fine But, darling, do you trust me? And if not, and if not, and if not What are we saying?

Wait (LIVE) 04:53
Wait "Those dreams were left for dead" That’s what the old kids said And I've never heard them lie before Those dreams were gone yesterday That’s what these old kids say And I've just heard them talk before How long before we hold on? Equivocate so you’re not wrong Then visualize what you're dreaming of Close your eyes and you’ll be there Fantasize here then toil out there You beware Wrote your dream on the back of your 401k Got no more ghosts to blame You're must pointing at sheets of grey Wait! I see a light on, but there's no sign of.. Wait! You’re in no hurry to say you’re sorry Wait! You need a purpose to see the surface Wait! You need some violence to break the silence Wait!

My Kind of Girl How long are you waiting Before you call this off, your protest? It's a Friday night under football lights; my hands are shaking Please call home and let us see this through And I've heard this all before Knocked down, got me turned around And then I end up on the bedroom floor She still smiles despite all the pain Love the stroms for the smell of the rain My God shes loves almost everything My girl, she's beautiful and always gonna be that way Do you remember fall, duck in the park? You named them something fun then I forgot them We take the dog to the beach and everyone that we see Is going grean from their jealousy We take the dog to the park and everyone there are Looking for something we've got Always smile, then after a while, I'll always hold your hand across the airplane aisle

Foresight Everyday seems get caught in a haze that can’t be broken through I search through the thick fog, get tired and everyday I seem to get lost I choke up, keep my chin down; swing for the fences, always seem to hit it foul The announcers in the top booth say, “that boy’s got no follow-through” My foresight is falling away I'm called to lead again, getting dizzy and I got no greys in my head Shout above the white noise; just a cymbal in cacophony of clamoring boys The elders step in and say “this is how you become a man” Called to lead again; one day I’ll get to see them all just as friends All this transpired under the guise that I could lead a holy choir And all this faith left, I'm left with something that I fake with friends My life has caught fire: It’s time to stop, drop, rock, and roll
